Through a generous grant from the Winnipeg Foundation, the Manitoba Library Association is able to distribute a free copy of Great Plains Publications’, The Encyclopedia of Manitoba, to all Manitoba schools. Each school will receive a copy in the December bulk distribution from the Instructional Resource Unit.

Kevin Mowat has been appointed as the Winnipeg School Division School Library Consultant. Kevin has had extensive experience in the division's libraries, most recently as Teacher-Librarian at Winnipeg School Division's Tech Voc.
